Barcelona’s Mali international Seydou Keita is going into the next game of the current African Nations Cup campaign against Algeria with a plank of just 0.12 rating points to beat in the FTBL system; he should reasonably be expected to boost his tally past the 100-point mark.
Keita is the highest rated Malian midfielder at the moment with an overall FTBL score of 90.90 points. In October of last year, he had a score in the neighborhood of 125 points. He even scored a hat-trick in Barcelona’s clobbering of Real Zaragoza in La Liga recently.
The Malians where fortunate to escape defeat in their opener against host Angola, when they fought back from 4 goals down in just 15 minutes to clinch a 4:4 draw. Algeria also tripped against minnows Malawi 0:3.
