Marco Devic (pictured left), the Metalist Kharkiv midfielder, tops the rating in the Ukrainian league with 77.65 points. He grabbed the lead after Metalist’s 1:0 win over Vorska Poltava in which Devic scored the only goal.
Devic has scored in his last four appearances, helping his side keep up the pressure on Shakhtar in the battle for the second place in the championship. Metalist currently trail by just one point.
Shakhtar’s Brazilian forward Luiz Adriano is second in the rating with 74.71 points. The two leaders have equal chances of boosting their ratings in the coming games: Adriano will need to earn at least 9.32 rating points to overtake his rival, while Devic will need 9.17 rating points to hold on to the top spot.
Shakhtar's Czech defender Tomas Hubschman leads in the rating of defenders. He even scored the winning goal in the game against Metalurh Donetsk, earning himself the top spot in the rating with 56.98 points.
