He now has 218.54 points over all, second only to Wolfsburg Bosnian forward Edin Dzeko, who still tops the rating with 219.54 points.
Man United Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo missed out on the top spot when he failed to earn enough rating points in the game against Portsmouth. Ronaldo currently has 217.20 points.
Cameroon striker Samuel Eto’o also made a loud comeback into the elite, with 27.25 rating points earned in Barcelona’s 4:0 trashing of Sevilla. The Cameroonian currently has 206.79 points.
Serb international Nemanja Vidic has returned to the top of the defenders’ rating with 131.70 points.
