Werder Bremen’s Peruvian forward Claudio Pizarro ended a 5-month spell without a single goal with one in the UEFA Cup semi-final against Hamburg yesterday (3:2). The Peruvian grabbed the second for Bremen at the 66th minute, boosting his national rating in the process.
Pizarro scored last back in April in the UEFA Cup match against Udinese (3:3). The Peru international had since lost 50 points in the ratings, and the 17.29 rating points he earned in the game against Hamburg came as a welcome relief.
The Bremen forward now has 92.61 points over all and is now second in the rating of Peruvian forwards ahead of Hamburg’s Paolo Guerrero (84.51 points). Shalke 04’s Jefferson Farfan, meanwhile, currently tops our rating of Peruvian forwards with 119.37 points over all.
