Former Brazil international and Real Madrid defender Roberto Carlos (pictured) has reportedly announced he will play for his former club without pay. The 35-year-old won 3 Champions League trophies with the Merengues, but his current FTBL rating will be one of the lowest at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Roberto Carlos currently has a rating of 33.54 points. Only Dutchman Royston Drenthe (25.29 points) and Christoph Metzelder (23.38 points) have lower ratings.
Carlos is reported to be wishing to end his illustrious career at Real, where he played for 11 years. But competition today at Real is fierce, and Carlos does not always play 90 minutes at his current Fenerbahçe SK. He spent just 17 minutes on the pitch in his last game against Gençlerbirligi. He earned 0.79 rating points, while his side won 3:0.
