Timisoara forward Gheorghe Bucur (center) ends the year as the best in the Romanian top league and among Romanian players with an FTBL score of 113.34 points, far ahead of more established Fiorentina star Adrian Mutu (102.11 points).
Bucur’s best performances so far have been with Romania against the Faroe Island (he picked up 24.84 points) and in the league game against Gaz Metan, in which he had a hat-trick. Timisoara won then 6:2, and Bucur added an eye-popping 32.03 points in the FTBL system.
