Besides Carlo Cudicini's move to Tottenham, English clubs have completed several other transfer deals in the last few days. Cudicini's move is the most significant of them, though. The rating of the goalkeeper, who acted as understudy to Peter Cech at Chelsea, is 61.47 points. This gives him a share of third and fourth place in his new team with Verdan Corluka. Above him are only Jermain Defoe and Roman Pavlyuchenko (see photo).
The second biggest "star" transfer was that of the French player Albin Ebondo to Newcastle. While playing in midfield for Toulouse he amassed 45.78 points - a very creditable result.
The ratings for the other subjects of transfer deals are less than those of Cudicini and Ebondo. The best of them, midfielder Hayden Mullins, has 21.7 points gained while with West Ham. His new club Portsmouth are not having a great season, and the 29 year-old will have a struggle to maintain even that modest rating.
