The German Bundesliga is offering a few interesting developments: first Hertha Berlin suffered a defeat, which has allowed Bayern, Wolfsburg, and Hamburg to approach to just point in the standings. The FTBL rating has also witnessed change: Bayern defender Philipp Lahm has grabbed the lead amongst defenders in the world ranking.
Lahm earned 15.50 rating points in the game against Karlsruhe and, with 127 points, has passed Serbian international Nemanja Vidic and Liverpool’s Jamie Carragher. Bayern won the game with a minimal score, with the only goal coming from Jose Ernesto Sosa. The Argentine midfielder had a successful match, collecting 19.50 rating points in the process and boosting his rating to 51.68 points.
Two goals by Jose Paolo Guerrero helped Hamburg win 2:1 against Schalke-04. The Peruvian is showing impressive form, and he earned 29.70 rating points in that game alone. He now has 134.20 points. Guerrero has scored 4 goals in his last two matches!
Wolfsburg trashed Arminia Bielefeld on the latter’s home stadium by 3:0. One of the goals was scored by Brazilian Gerafite, who now tops the Top-23 list of Brazilian players with 153.38 points.
