Rules for Playing Group Tournaments in FTBL Roulette
International Club Tournaments
Teams that can enter international club tournaments (Champ Cup and FTBL Cup) are those that have finished in sufficiently high positions in their FTBL Standard national championships:
- for Champ Cup – 1st Place
- for FTBL Cup – 1st, 2nd and 3rd Places
N.B. Only teams that have finished in the appropriate positions in FTBL Standard Real Вased tournaments can enter Real Based international club tournaments.
International club tournaments consist of two stages: a group stage and a knockout stage. Teams’ current ratings are of no importance (all the teams are given an identical rating). The tournament comprises 32 teams – 8 groups of 4 teams. A draw is made before the start of the tournament.
There are 3 points for a win, 1 for a draw, and 0 for a defeat.
The two teams with the highest number of points qualify from the group.
If two or more teams have an equal number of points after the group stage, the team with the best extra indicators takes priority. The list and relative priority of these extra indicators is agreed before each tournament; unless otherwise agreed, the winner is determined as follows:
- on goal difference;
- on the number of goals scored);
- on the results of the matches between the teams);
- by drawing lots.
The teams which have qualified from the group proceed to the knockout stage.
The prize fund is made up of the stakes made by the participants in the tournament.
