Tournaments Welcome
Welcome is a type of tournament especially for teams whose real prototypes do not play in one of the 23 national championships included in the Game System. These tournaments can only be played in FTBL Standard (i.e. a particular national championship is played). A Real Based team from that country, which does not play in the Premier League, can be entered in the place of any other team, take part in the championship, win it, then take part in international club tournaments. Basic and Real Based teams are also admitted to Welcome tournaments if a user has expressed the desire to play on behalf of a team in that country’s Premier League.
Real Based teams competing in a Welcome tournament receive award points with a сoefficient of 1.5.
If the Game System Database does not include a sufficient number of players (11 in their respective positions) in order to form a Real Based team from a lower league, a user can introduce the requisite number of these players to the Database (there is a fee for this service: see "Add New Player to the Database"). These players will be available to all users and, if they are included in other users’ teams, the owner of the new players will receive remuneration from the Game System.
Two identical Real Based teams are not admitted to one Welcome tournament.
Example. A user has a Real Based “Leeds United” team and enters for an English Premiership Welcome tournament. He chooses a position in the tournament table in which to enter his team – for example, in place of MU. “Leeds” will appear in the line in the tournament table corresponding to the user’s team in place of “MU”. In order to do this “Leeds” must have a rating no lower than that of MU.
