Award of Tournament Points in FTBL Roulette

On the results of each mini-time a team accumulates a certain number of tournament points, which are distributed among the players in a special way.

If a team does not score a goal in a particular mini-time, the team’s points total increases by the number of points gained as a result of the mini-time. Tournament points are awarded to the players with the following numbers in equal shares:

1) the number coming up on the roulette wheel (if the stake has won),

2) the numbers of the winning chips (only the chips that have been placed on the winning stake),

3) the number of the assistant on the playing field.

N.B. Each stake on the playing field, with the exception of number, one-two, line and square (see the table in "Rules for a FTBL Roulette Match"), correspond to the number of the assistant. It is indicated on the playing field.

If a goal is scored in a mini-time, then in addition to the points already gained the team receives an extra 75 points for each goal, 50 of which go to the goalscorer. The other 25 points go to the player whose number corresponds to the number of the combination in which the goal is scored.

If a goal is scored as the result of a set piece, the team also receives extra points. They are credited to the goalscorer. The number of points received by this player depends on the probability of scoring from the free kick and is formalised in the playing field by information about the distance from goal. If a goal is not scored, points are awarded to the goalkeeper who saves the free kick (see table below).

N.B. The probability of scoring from a free kick depends on the correlation between the teams’ ratings (see the table in “Set Pieces in FTBL Roulette”).

In the event of a goal being scored in extra time (the ball landing in the black or red sector), the number that comes up receives 50 points.

In the event of the ball landing in the blue or green sector, the number that comes up receives 10 points.

Points are not awarded for scoring in penalty shoot-outs.
A goalkeeper who makes a save in a penalty shoot-out is awarded a number of points dependent on the correlation between the teams’ ratings.
