A goalkeeper who is comparatively short-statured but who is very good in the air and in goal-line play. He does, however, make mistakes when he leaves the goal area. Playing for BATE of Belarus against Dynamo Tbilisi in a UEFA Cup match, he scored a goal by kicking the ball right from his goal area. After remaining airborne for about 80 meters , the ball landed on wet grass, bounced off and went right into Dynamo Tbilisi's goal, whizzing past the Georgian goalkeeper, who happened to be outside the goal area.
