Franck Ribéry

A halfback with very high speed and good dribbling, he likes to take control of the ball, and he can determine the outcome of a match single-handedly. Germany's best football player in the 2007/2008 season, Ribery nearly ended his career at the age of 19, when, playing for a small football club, he contracted debts and was forced to work as a laborer, as his father. After five months of grueling physical work patching up road potholes, Franck raised the money that enabled him to pay back his debts, after which his father persuaded the future France international to return into football.
