The best striker in the 2008 European Championship, known for his ability to find position in front of the opponent's goal, David Villa is excellent at shooting with either foot and is good with headers. He had his first major injury, however, at the age of four, when an older boy fell on his left foot during a game. Villa's father was in real earnest about his son's treatment, making him do daily exercises with his injured foot. The father's efforts were successful – the boy recovered completely.
