The Nigerian international's double against Grenoble allowed Marseille to carry the day with a convincing 4:1 win, and Taiwo, with 110.70 rating points, now tops the list of best defenders of the Ligue 1.
The Nigerian international earned a spectacular 23.90 points in the game, establishing himself as the best rated Nigerian player at the moment.
Lyon's painful home draw against Monaco sent them stumbling back into second place. Bordeaux are now just a single point behind, after their 2:0 win over Auxerre. Brazilian Wendel scored one of the goals, earning himself 21 rating points. He now has an overall rating of 115.77 points, which has vaulted him into second place in the list of best midfielders of the Ligue 1.
