Barcelona forward and Cameroonian international Samuel Eto’o (pictured left) is now first in the rating of best African football players. Eto’o, who earned 6.94 rating points in Barcelona’s Champions League game against Bayern Munich, is just a few hundredths of points shy of the 200-point mark: he has 199.95points.
Eto’o, however, could have a hard time closing this ridiculously low at first glance gap of just 0.05 points. The Barca forward will have the clear the 35-point threshold in the next game. To get there, he will have to score at least two goals, or better yet three!
Chelsea striker Didier Drogba is likewise in an upward spiral: he earned a whopping 30 rating points in the Champions League match against Liverpool and now has 182.85 points over all. He has a perfect opportunity to boost the rating in the upcoming game; all he needs to do is earn just one rating point.
