Raul was once again at it last night, showing he remains indispensable at Real Madrid with a hat-trick that helped the Galacticos grab a crucial 4:2 victory at Sevilla. Real’s win has once again reduced the gap with leaders Barcelona to just 4 points going into the finale of the La Liga. The Spain international, with 199.38 points, has now rejoined our FTBL World Top 23.
Raul first leveled the score for Real, and then helped his side take the lead, before finally scoring the winner. He first sent in a cross from Christoph Metzelder, volleyed in another, before punishing Sevilla goalkeeper Andres Palop for allowing a loose ball.
Raul picked an incredible 40 rating points in the game. Sevilla forward Frederic Kanoute could not break his run of four matches without a goal. He lost 11.77 rating points and is in danger of exiting our list of 23 best African players. The Malian international currently has 123.34 points and is second from bottom on the list.
