The leader of our FTBL Top 23 for forwards in Italian Serie A, Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic (pictured left), extended his lead with a goal in Inter Milan’s 2:0 win over Lazio yesterday.
Ibrahimovic scored Inter’s first at the 58th minute, before Ghana international Sulley Muntari added the winner with ten minutes left. The goal brought the Swede 10.50 rating points, taking his current tally to 168.13 points, firmly on top of the rating of forwards in Serie A.
Milan AC’s Filippo ‘Pippo’ Inzaghi, who is second in the ratings with 147.07 points, and Fiorentina’s Alberto Gilardino, who is in third place with 146.22 points, will attempt to close the gap with their main rival tonight when AC Milan travel to Catania and Fiorentina host Torino.
