Our FTBL Top 23 rating of best defenders in the Serie A has seen substantial changes, with the appearance of AC Milan left-back Gianluca Zambrotta (pictured left). The defender currently has 119.84 points over all and has had consistently high performances in recent games.

Zambrotta, just like AC Milan’s defense, displays very high form and has routinely picked 14.60 rating points in every recent game. The only exception was the game against Torino, in which Milan conceded a goal. Zambrotta earned only 11 rating points in that game.

Brazilian midfielder Kaka has also boosted his rating: he earned 23.88 rating points in the game against Torino, which Milan after all won 5:1, and now has 150.79 points over all.
