Hamburg’s Croatian forward Ivica Olic, whose contract ends this season before he joins Bayern Munich, will have a perfect opportunity to leave in style with a cheering display in the coming second leg of the UEFA Cup semi-final against Werder Bremen.
Olic is currently the best FTBL rated Croatian player with 118.01 points. He held the lead in the FTBL Top 23 for the Bundesliga for a brief spell last winter, before exiting the list altogether. Though his plank to beat is just a little more than one rating point in the game against Bremen, he still needs to score a hat-trick in order to return into the elite of the Bundesliga.
Midfielder Piotr Trochowski, who scored the only goal in the first leg but has since been absent from the list of best German players, will have to beat a plank of 13 rating points in the game. In addition, he needs a bonus of at least one rating point to return into the elite in the Bundesliga.
