Barcelona are already hard at work preparing for their La Liga game against Villarreal after their dramatic Champions League semi-final qualification against Chelsea. The game will be a perfect opportunity for Cote d’Ivoire midfielder Yaya Toure (pictured right) to snatch the lead in our rating of Cote d’Ivoire players from Chelsea’s Didier Drogba.

Toure currently has 112.14 points over all, and his plank to beat in the game will be just 7.20 rating points. A win for Barcelona, coupled with a goal by Toure, will propel the midfielder past Drogba (pictured left) to the top of our rating for Cote d’Ivoire players.

With 142.06 points over all at the moment, Drogba will find it hard to earn the 30 rating points he needs in the Premier League game against Arsenal to avoid sinking in the rating. It is worth noting that Drogba earned the same 30 rating points against Arsenal in the FA Cup when he scored a goal and Chelsea won 2:1.

Another Cote d’Ivoire player, Salomon Kalou, is wedged between Drogba and Toure in the rating, with 121.20 points over all. Kalou will need 19.00 rating points in the match against Arsenal to retain his ranking. But his chances of even making the lineup appear remote.
