Sevilla's Malian forward Frederic Kanoute (pictured) seems to be slowly emerging from his latest bout of bad form: he scored a decisive goal from the penalty box in his side’s 3:1 win over Mallorca and has returned into our FTBL Top 23 rating of African players.
Kanoute picked up a little less than 23 rating points in the game and now has 133.88 points over all. The Malian will most likely boost his rating in the coming games, since his plank to beat will be just 7 rating points. Sevilla, meanwhile, have maintained the gap in the standings with Valencia at 4 points.
Sevilla’s two other goals came from Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano and Spanish midfielder Jesus Navas. Fabiano is now back in our list of best Brazilian forwards with 116.48 points over all.
