Schalke 04 will host Stuttgart in Bundesliga action tonight in what will certainly be an exciting game. Take for example forward Mario Gomez (pictured right): if he earns more than 27.10 rating points, he will have a good chance of returning to the top of our rating of world forwards.

Gomez currently has 225.44 points over all, while leader among forwards Uruguay striker Diego Forlan has 229.82 points. If Gomez scores and Stuttgart win, the German international could be catapulted to the top of our rating, while a loss for his side could mean an exit from the Top 23.

Werder Bremen have long dropped out of the race for the title, so their match against Eintracht Frankfurt will most likely serve as a dress rehearsal before their UEFA Cup final against Sahkhtar Donetsk. The game could also be an opportunity for Portuguese forward Hugo Almeida to boost his rating.

Almeida scored a double against Hamburg in the previous game, earning 26.78 rating points in the process. He is now one of the best Portuguese forwards with 101.62 points over all.

Almeida will have to earn just 5 rating points in the game against Frankfurt, and provided he produces a performance similar to the one he had against Hamburg, he could join our FTBL Top 23 for the Bundesliga. But to do that, he will need to score a double at the very least.
