Manchester United will host Arsenal tomorrow in what could be the title clincher for Alex Ferguson’s men, but the Gunners are decided to spoil the party and count on Russian international Andrei Arshavin to provide the boost.
Arshavin is currently the best rated player at Arsenal with 165.43 points over all, and he could well overtake Man United’s Wayne Rooney after the game if he can pick up 25 rating points. The Russia set the plank in the 4:1 win over Wigan, in which he scored a goal in the dying minutes.
But Rooney will have an easier task, since he needs just 15.45 rating points to avoid dropping in the rating. He currently has 177.96 points over all and has not scored in his last five appearances. Rooney’s rating will continue to drop if United draw and he fails to score.
