Bayern Munich’s star players saw their FTBL rating fortunes and title hopes sink as they failed to overcome TSG Hoffeinheim in Bundesliga action on Saturday (2:2): Bastian Schweinsteiger, who just recently entered the FTBL World Top 23, has dropped out again, while French star midfielder Franck Ribery and Italian forward Luca Toni, despite scoring a goal apiece, failed to improve their ratings.
Schweinsteiger had a high plank of 25 rating points to overcome in the match, which he set when he scored one of the goals in Bayern’s recent trashing of Eintracht Frankfurt (4:0). This time around, the midfielder lost 18 rating points. Despite exiting the world elite, Schweinsteiger continues to top the rating in his category in the Bundesliga with 137.94 points over all.
Rebery and Toni were able to keep their rating losses to a minimum: The French lost just 1.49 rating points, while the Italy international lost 2.38 rating points.
