Lyon forward Karim Benzema (pictured right) earned a deserved 22.70 rating points when his side humbled title-chaser Marseille this weekend. The France international now has a tally of 143.18 points.

Benzema is now second only to Atletico Madrid’s Sergio Aguero (157.50 points) in the FTBL rating of U21 forwards.

Benzema’s plank to beat in the next game will be just 1 rating point, but rating leader Aguero will likewise have a low plank of 3 rating points. Benzema will also have a chance to overtake Bordeaux’s Marouane Shamakh (145.23 points) in the FTBL rating of top young forwards in the French Ligue 1. Marouane has a higher plank of 9.95 rating points to beat in his next game.
