Liverpool’s Jose Reina earned approximately 15 rating points to boost his tally to 130.94 points, hot on the heels of Man United’s Edwin van der Sar, who currently has 143.32 points.
While van der Sar has a plank of 17.25 rating points to beat in his next game to avoid a drop, Reina will need just to appear in the game against Tottenham.
The Dutch could choose to sit out the match against Hull City to avoid losing points. In that case, he will retain his rating and Reina will overtake him only if Liverpool win without conceding a single goal.
