Spartak Moscow’s Brazilian players Suarez Welliton (pictured) and Alex had a double each in the their side’s victory over Amkar of Perm, improving their ratings in the process: Welliton climbed to 3rd place in the FTBL rating of forwards, while Alex for the first time broke into the Top 23 for midfielders.
Welliton earned 9.96 rating points, taking his overall rating to 78.11 points, while Alex picked up 14.31 rating points to reach 67.09 points over all.
Another Brazilian, midfielder Rafael Carioca, could soon join Alex in the Russian Premier League's elite: he currently has just 61.30 points and will climb up the rating ladder if he can pick up 7 rating points in the coming game against Lokomotiv Moscow.
