Barcelona’s strong headed young midfielder Sergio Busquets (pictured right) broke into the FTBL Top 23 for players under 21 after his side’s triumph over Manchester United in the Champions League final.
Busquets earned 15 rating points in the final and, with a tally of 74.14 points, rose to 7th place in the FTBL rating of best U21 midfielders. Busquets has picked up 40 rating points in his last 2 appearances (against Athletic Bilbao and Man United).
Forward Bojan Krkic, another Barcelona young talent, currently has a rating of 77.90 points, which is not enough for a spot in the Top 23 for U21 forwards. Krkic has not been making the starting lineup lately, which, naturally, has had an impact on his overall rating.
