French Ligue 1: Bordeaux's Rame Ends Mandanda's Reign in Goalkeepers' Rating

Bordeaux clinched their first title in 10 years away at Caen with a 1:0 win that led to substantial changes in the FTBL rating of goalkeepers in the Ligue 1, with Marseille’s Steve Mandanda losing his top spot to Bordeaux’s Ulrich Rame (pictured left).

Despite having collected more rating points in Marseille’s 4:0 win over Stade Rennes (14.60 against 13.10 points) Mandanda still dropped in the overall rating as he had a higher plank than Rame to beat (11 against 4.89 rating points).

Rame now has 103 points over all against Mandanda’s 100.47. The rating of French goalkeepers has a slightly different configuration, with Fiorentina’s Sebastien Frey in first place with 107.91 points over all, followed by Ulrich in second, and Mandanda in third.
