Liverpool’s Dutch forward Dirk Kuyt ended the season with a rating of 206.54 points, the best in the English Premier League as it stands. His nearest rival, Teammate Fernando Torres, is only second with 192.96 points over all.

Despite a lack of form in the mid-season, when he even exited the FTBL Top 23 for the Premier League, Kuyt managed a powerful return towards the end of March. He began scoring regularly, and at one juncture even topped the FTBL rating of the world’s best forwards!

He grabbed the lead in the FTBL Top 23 for the Premier League from Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo after the later lost a whopping 20 rating points in the last game to see his tally slump to 204.49 points.
