Pachuca midfielder Christian Gimenez retained his top spot in the FTBL rating of midfielders of the Mexican league despite his side’s failure to clinch the title after drawing 2:2 against Pumas UNAM in the title game: he finishes with a rating of 58 points.

Gimenez’s double was not enough to earn his side victory, but the midfielder earned a healthy 9 rating points to further consolidate his position at the top of the rating of best midfielders in the Mexican League.

UNAM ended up clinching the title through the efforts of Dante Lopez and Pablo Barrera. Lopez broke into the Mexican Top 23 after earning a little over 11 rating points in the game. He rounds off the list of best forwards of the league.
