FC Moskva’s Slovak forward Martin Jakubko took the lead in the FTBL top 23 of the Russian Premier League after contributing a goal to his country’s 7:0 rout of San Marino in a World Cup 2010 qualifier yesterday. Jakubko picked up a whopping 35 rating points in the process to boost his tally to 96.17 points, the highest rating of any player in the Russian league.
Jakubko also climbed up to 3rd place in the FTBL rating of Slovak forwards, behind only Lille’s Robert Vittek (102.65 points) and VfL Bochum’s Stanislav Sestak (102.61 points).
Meanwhile, West Bromwich’s Marek Cech, who scored twice in the game, now tops the rating of Slovak defenders with 74.46 points over all.
