Atletico Madrid and Uruguay forward Diego Forlan (pictured right), the best FTBL-rated player in the world at the moment, will have another steep slope to climb tonight when Uruguay travel to Puerto Ordaz to play against feisty Venezuela on June 10: Forlan will have a plank of 45 rating points to beat in the game.

Forlan set the plank in Atletico Madrid’s 3:2 win over Espanyol in La Liga in which Forlan had a hat-trick. The striker currently has a tally of a little over 300 points, but he appears unlikely to lose his leadership in the rating: his nearest rival, Wolfsburg’s Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko, trails by approximately 40 points.
