Sevilla’s Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano (pictured) concluded a very productive week in South Africa with the Selecao in the Confed Cup with a double in the 3:0 routing of hapless world champions Italy. Fabiano is now firmly in 6th place in the FTBL Top 23 of La Liga forwards.
Fabiano grabbed his first in the 37th when he recovered a scuffed Maicon shot to beat a helpless Gianluigi Buffon. His second came in the 43rd as he finished off a dazzling effort by Kaka and Robinho. Fabiano picked up a whopping 31 rating points to boost his tally to 172.86 points. He now ranks 13th in the Top 23 of the world’s best forwards and 2nd in our rating of Brazilian forwards.
