The stinging 0:2 loss to the U.S. in the Confed cup surprisingly enough did not have a negative impact on all Spanish players: for example, Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas (pictured right), who was substituted in the 67th minute, managed to improve his rating, albeit by a modest 5 rating points.
With a tally of 130.32 points at the moment, Fabregas has even moved up in the FTBL rating of Spanish players and the Top 23 of the English Premier league.
The Gunner now ranks 3rd in the Top 23 of the Premier league and has overtaken Liverpool’s Xabi Alonso (122 points) in the rating of Spanish midfielders.
