Los Angeles galaxy forward and leader of the U.S. football team’s strike force Landon Donovan (pictured right) could make football history once more if he manages to lead his country to a victory in the Confederation Cup against Brazil; he tops the FTBL rating of American forwards with 76 points at the moment.
But Donovan has a lower tally than some of his partners in the U.S. team: the best rated midfielder, Fulham’s Clint Dempsey, has 87.67 points; the top-rated goalkeeper, Aston Villa’s Brad Friedel, has 76.39 points; while Rennes’ Carlos Bocanegra, the skipper, has 76.39 points.
The striker could change all that if he scores in the final to help the U.S. win. His plank for the game will amount to 13.31 rating points.
