Sevilla’s Brazilian striker Luis Fabiano (pictured left) took the lead in the FTBL Top 23 of Brazilian forwards after the Selecao overcame an inspired South Africa side in the semi-final of the Confederations Cup yesterday with 180.0 points. He could consolidate his position in the coming final against the U.S., as he has a plank of just 14 rating points to beat.
But Manchester City’s star Robinho (pictured right), who trails by just 8 rating points, could decide otherwise despite having a higher plank of approximately 20 rating to beat in the same game. If Robinho scores, better still twice, he could snatch the top spot from Fabiano’s claws.
But a loss for Brazil will mean a retreat for Fabiano and Robinho, while Wolfsburg’s Grafite, who has 179.7 points, will be left to re-claim the coveted spot.
