The best midfielder in Spartak Moscow’s ranks at the moment is Brazilian Alex with 66.47 points. But the playmaker has recently expressed the desire to join Greek side Panathinaikos, and his exit will deprive Spartak of a great asset.

Alex has one of the highest FTBL rating at Spartak: only striker Welliton has a slightly higher rating at 66.74 points.

The reported fee wanted for Alex amounts to 10 million euro. If the transfer is successful, Alex would become one of the Greek side's leading midfielders: only Gilberto Silva (128.53 points) and Giorgios Karagounis (69.78 points) have higher ratings.

According to sport.ru, Alex has not joined the team for its pre-season camp in Austria, reportedly due to injury.
