Liverpool skipper and England international Steven Gerrard (pictured), who has agreed to a deal tying him down at Anfield Road for another 4 years, is currently the highest rated player in the team with 185.04 points. The deal is reportedly worth 140,000 pounds a week. For comparison, Fernando Torres, Liverpool’s marquee forward, earns just 90,000 pounds a week.
Despite being a midfielder, Gerrard rates higher than forwards Dirk Kuyt and Torres, who have 184.48 and 184.26 points, respectively.
The England international also rakes in 14.28 rating points on average per game, a solid number for a midfielder, albeit a little less than Torres’ average take of 16 points. In addition, Gerrard has a star index of 8.9%.
