As reports surface of Manchester City’s decision to abandon the pursuit of Barcelona’s Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto’o, some in the British media are claiming that Manchester United are interested in the Cameroonian and willing to come up with 29 million pounds for him and offer him a salary of 150,000 pounds per week.

If the Cameroon international decides to join the Red Devils, he will rank 2nd in the FTBL rating behind England international Wayne Rooney (187.66 points): Eto’o has an overall FTBL rating of 176.53 points at the moment.

Eto’o is said to prefer a move to Old Trafford, where he will be able to play in the Champions League next season.

The Cameroonian picks up on average 16 rating points per game, and his plank to beat in his first match of the coming season will amount to just 6 rating points.
