Former Werder Bremen Brazilian playmaker Diego, who has now joined Juventus, is 2nd in the FTBL ranking of midfielders in his new club behind teammate Felipe Melo (150.25 points), but he can take comfort in the fact that, with a tally of 87.53 points, he remains among the best Serie A midfielders.
Diego, for whom Juventus coughed up 25 million euro, is not among the best Brazilian midfielders at the moment. His drop in the ranking has been a result of his lackluster end of season at Bremen.
The Brazilian is guaranteed a bonus of 0.95 rating points in his first game for his new team. He lost the points in Bremen’s 0:1 loss to Hamburg in the Bundesliga last season. If Juventus win, Diego stands the chance of substantially improving his rating and, maybe, returning among the top Brazilian midfielders.
