Estudiantes de La Plata skipper and Argentine international Juan Sebastian Veron (pictured) re-captured the lead in the FTBL ranking of midfielders in the Argentinean Primera A after his side’s victory in the Copa Libertadores.
A few months back Veron was on the verge of falling out of the group of eight best midfielders, but he managed a strong showing towards the end of the season, earning a whopping 46.90 rating points in his last five appearances. He now has an overall rating of 79.14 points.
Veron now ranks 5th behind Atlético Madrid’s Maxi Rodrigez (82.78 points) in the FTBL ranking of Argentine midfielders. He is 89th in our world ranking of midfielders.
