Liverpool are planning to put to Italian side AS Roma a deal for their midfielder Alberto Aquilani, according to Britain’s Channel 4, maybe to parry the eventual loss of Spain international Xabi Alonso.
Aquilani, who has a low FTBL rating of 44.73 points at the moment, is at the foot of the ranking of midfielders at AS Roma. He has been sidelined by injury since the Champions League game against Arsenal last March 11. As a consequence, his average rating points take per game has remained at 5.73, while his star index languishes at a little over 3%.
Alonso on the other hand, is one of the best midfielders at Liverpool at the moment, with an overall FTBL rating of 142.76 points. Only skipper and England international Steven Gerrard has a higher rating of 186.84 points.
