Italy international Luca Toni has reportedly drawn the ire of new manager Louis van Gall at Bayern Munich and has been sent packing to the second team for alleged lack of fitness. Toni, who is one of the highest ranked players at Bayern with 131.49 points over all, could end up leaving the Bavarian club.
The Italian has been linked to Serie A sides AC Milan and Fiorentina, Bundesliga newly minted champions Wolfsburg and even Turkey’s Fenerbahçe SK and Tottenham Hotspur.
If a move to AC Milan, Fiorentina, or Fenerbahçe will put Toni in the lead there in terms of rating numbers, joining the Spurs will make him second behind Ireland international Robbie Keane, who has a higher overall rating of 133.3 points. At Wolfsburg, Toni will be overwhelmed by Brazilian Grafite (179.7 points) and Bosnian international Edin Dzeko (253.23 points), who are among the most prolific strikers in the world at the moment and in the Top 3 of the FTBL world ranking.
