The FTBL rating of Inter Milan midfielder and former France international Patrick Vieira could benefit if interest from Tottenham Hotspurs manager Harry Redknapp translates into an actual transfer. For one Vieira, who had very little playtime last season in Jose Morinho’s team, would be more likely to earn a place in the starting lineup, which would inevitably reflect on his current low rating of just 31.99 points, the worst among Nerrazuri midfielders.

The same lack of playtime has translated into a very low star index of just 1.7%. Vieira picked up on average just 5 rating points per game last season, even though he had some decent showing as was the case in the 3:2 victory over Palermo: he picked up 19 rating points in that game.

Vieira will not be a leader at Tottenham but will rank 6th among midfielders between David Bentley (32.05 points) and Jamie O’Hara (20.54 points).
