Saint-Etienne forward and France international Bafetimbi Gomis (pictured) has signed a five-year deal with French Ligue 1 powerhouse Lyon reportedly worth 13 million euros. The 24-year-old will obviously strengthen the attacking power of the seven-time French league champions.
Lyon is doing well in its effort to beef up its strike force: they have already acquired Lisandro López (118.75 points) from Porto and Fenerbahçe’s Spain international Daniel Güiza, the best rated forward in the Turkish league with 140.97 points over all.
Gomis can be expected to smoothly find his bearings in this new group under construction: with an overall FTBL rating of 91.74 points at the moment, he has under his belt a rating 132 points achieved at the peak of form.
