Turkish Super League side Galatasaray have signed Brazilian midfielder Elano (pictured) from Manchester City for a reported 8 million euros. It appears the Turks are planning to build their midfield around the Brazil international.

Elano was only 4th at City among midfielders in the FTBL rating with 70.28 points over all, while he will now be in the lead in his new club: his nearest rival, Turan Arda, has an overall FTBL rating of 61.55 points.

Adaptation in Turkey for Elano should be made easier with the presence of fellow countryman Lincoln, who is in 5th place in our ranking of midfielders with an overall rating of 35.06 points. The midfield will be completed by Australian international Harry Kewell (49.92 points in 3rd place) and Akman Ayhan (37.66 points in 4th place).
