AC Milan playmaker Andrea Pirlo is on the verge of signing for Chelsea and reuniting with manager Carlo Ancelotti, according to the Italian media. The Rossoneri are reportedly after Real Madrid's Dutch international Wesley Sneijder as a replacement to the 30-year-old Italy international.
If the deal goes through, Pirlo, who has an overall FTBL rating of 71.09 points, will be one the lowest ranked midfielders at Stamford Bridge. Even new signing Yuri Zhirkov, who until recently played in the lower ranked Russian Premier League, has a higher FTBL rating of 80.78 points.
Sneijder has a higher rating of 84.70 points and will be 2nd among midfielders at the San Siro behind only Massimo Ambrosini, who has a rating of 85.33 points.
