Arsenal have jumped into the race to sign former French international Patrick Vieira from Inter Milan, according to the British Media. Vieira, who has been miserable since joining the Nerrazuri, is reportedly keen to accept a pay cut in a bid for playtime in preparation for an eventual 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
With an overall FTBL rating of just 31.91 points, Vieira is the worst ranked midfielder at Inter Milan at the moment.
Arsenal are reportedly ready to offer a one-year contract with a huge bonus to their former skipper. In contrast to his position at Inter, Vieira will not be the lowest rated midfielder at the Emirates: Aaron Ramey has an FTBL rating of 28.75 points, while Kieran Gibbs has 18.33 points.
